“It’s not up to you to finish the task, but you are not free to desist from trying.”  So if you’re in a moment of feeling discouraged, this message is for you.  I remember when I decided to start a coaching company in my mid-twenties,  I was so inspired to finally be doing something that I loved.  But when I began picking up the phone and making calls, I received objection after objection about how they didn’t need it, couldn’t afford it, the price was too high, or that maybe they’ll try it next week or next month, etc.  I’ll never forget one weekend, I made 100 calls, and ended the day in the fetal position on the floor…crying.  I  got rejected so many times that I began to lose my self esteem and confidence.  I started to think maybe being an entrepreneur just wasn’t for me.  In that time, I almost gave up on my dream of living a life on my terms, with financial and time freedom. Finally, Through what I believe was divine intervention,  I was led to several mentors who taught me vital business, and emotional intelligence skills that eventually led me to make millions, which I am humbled and proud to say.  What finally started to have things work was demonstrating that YES I understood a customer’s needs, I effectively could communicate to them that I could help them…and then they felt safe to buy from me.
